I've been getting ready for my first sale of the new year, next Sunday in Illinois.
My nephews' school is having a St. Patrick festival, and they've asked me to be a vendor.
It should be quite a shindig...Irish dancers, kids' games, and apparently an obscene amount of corned beef.
I'm really looking forward to the weekend.
I'll stay with my sister and the boys and will see lots of old and new friends from my former stomping grounds.

My inventory is slim from the holiday rush,
so there's been LOTS of activity in the studio!

Well, SOME of us have been busy in the studio...

  1. Your weekend sounds wonderful. Those Illinois Irish can really do St.Patrick's Day! Where are your old stomping grounds? I lived in Illinois when I was in high school, way down by St. Louis in a town called O'Fallon. Then I was at U of I until 1992, when I graduated. Wouldn't it be funny if I knew someone you knew... stranger things have happened!
Love your pets. They are so sweet.

  2. I grew up in central Illinois in Manville. It's in the middle of farm country, near Pontiac. I need to think about who I may know that went to U of I around that time! I graduated from ISU in Bloomington in 1995.

  3. Another of my old stomping grounds is in Woodstock. I lived there after college for a long time and my sister lives there. I still have lots of friends in that area so I consider it home too. I have three "homes"!
