Cemetery on Hwy B - Marathon, WI

I love seeing flags on our veterans' graves for Memorial Day.

For patriotic holidays when we were kids

we got to help place the flags in the ground.

Then there was a ceremony followed by a 21-gun salute,

performed by veterans like my Dad.

So cool.

Still chokes me up thinking about it.
